1. 100% of the total holiday cost is payable when booking online and the booking will not be accepted until full payment is made.
2. The owners regret that once the deposit or full rental has been paid they will be unable to refund any monies and therefore strongly recommend that cancellation insurance be taken.
3. The Owners give all information and make all statements in good faith and use their best endeavour to check, as far as reasonably possible, all information given to applicants. The Owners shall not however, in any event, be liable for any damage or loss resulting from information given or statements made whether verbally or in writing.
4. The number of people occupying the cottage must not exceed the number booked.
5. No pets are allowed.
6. Smoking is not permitted within the property.
7. The Owners reserve the right to decline accommodation to or expel any occupier or visitor for conduct, which in their sole view is detrimental to the property or the neighbouring properties. They reserve the right to enter the property at any time but will endeavour to do so when convenient to the occupier.
8. The occupier undertakes to look after the property and its contents and keep the premises and all furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects in or on the premises in the same state of repair as at the commencement of the letting (reasonable wear and tear excepted) and shall report and pay to the owners the value of any part of the premises, furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects so destroyed or damaged as to be incapable of being restored to its former condition.
9. The booking is for short term holiday rental only and the property is therefore exempt from security of tenure under the Rent Act.
10. The Owners will not accept liability or responsibility to Hirers, their families and friends, for any accident/injury to them or for any loss or damage to their property, including personal belongings, cash, jewellery and motor vehicles, howsoever caused, during their stay.
11. The Owners’ responsibility and financial liability shall be limited to the return of monies received in the event of accommodation, booked in good faith, not being available owing to storm or fire or other such cause beyond their control.
12. Details of where to collect the key will be sent to you before your holiday begins. The key may be collected after 3 p.m. on the day of your arrival. Check out time is 10 a.m. on the day of departure.
13. In the event of any problem during your holiday, please contact the Owners immediately so that it can be dealt with as soon as possible.
14. Online bookings are accepted by the Owners on the provision that the requirements, terms and conditions stated above are accepted by the person making the booking.
